Picture Perfect in the Outback
Celebrating Australian Libraries and Librarians
We’ve spent the month of March enjoying stories sent in from our fellow librarians from Down Under. Thank you to all who contributed to the first ever Librarians of the World month on the Merry Librarian! We hope you’ll continue to submit your stories from all over the world. This week’s post is a visual celebration of just a few of the beautiful library locations in Australia. If we’ve done our homework correctly, you should be able to click on an image to learn more about the featured library…and more! Thank you, again, for celebrating libraries and librarians from Australia with us this past month!

Lovely! But not one of them’s in the Outback! They are all in major cities in Australia. Cheers.
At a recent RA seminar at the State Library of NSW thriller writer, Matthew Reilly, told us that, unable to go to the NY public library that he used as the setting for his first, self-published novel, Contest, he used a soctored picture of the front of the SLNSW instead.
